Budget Transfers

Waterford does not have either a policy or ordinance on how to handle budget transfer requests. I am looking for best practices other towns utilize to create a draft policy/ordinance and appreciate anything others are willing to share. Thank you.

Town of Newtown has budget transfers addressed in our Charter. I'm not sure I'd consider the process a "best practice" since it's a little garbled who approves what, but here's the link for your reference: https://ecode360.com/44443569#44443578
